The number of dirty diapers may decrease after the fourth week. The first few days of life for your baby, you may see a weight lose. Afterward, your baby should gain 4-8 ounces per week for the first few weeks. You nanny can help with proper storage for your breast milk.This way, you can preserve your breast milk and know it will be stored properly and swiftly after you pump. Your nanny should be shown the proper way of storing your breast milk as well as sterilizing. Frozen breast milk and refrigerated milk can be put into a warm bowl of water to thaw it out. It should never be microwaved. You can let frozen milk sit in a refrigerator and then take it put the next day and warm it in a bowl. All breast pumps need to be sterilized properly. You nanny can help keep your equipment clean and ready for the next time use. Wash pump parts with warm water and a little soap.Remember to also wash your hands as well as company and the nanny should wash their hands when handling pump parts or the baby. Keeping things sanitary helps your baby stay healthy and prevents germ contamination. To sterilize parts, you can use an electric steam sterilizer or a bag provided by the company that makes your pump. You can also put everything in a pot and do it the old fashion way by boiling hot water for five minutes while all the parts are inside. Make sure you have cleaned all the parts, bottles etc... with warm water and soap before putting it inside.
